About the Citizens Affairs Unit

The Citizens Affairs Unit is an administrative unit affiliated with the Dean’s Office. It handles citizens’ requests, problems, suggestions, and inquiries related to the institute and coordinates with the relevant departments to address them. Citizens here include students, staff, and external visitors. This unit is considered important and effective due to its role in providing services to citizens and solving their problems quickly, reflecting a civilized and institutional approach and promoting transparency and mutual respect between the citizens and the institute.

Provide specialized services through the Citizens Affairs Unit at the Al-Najaf Technical Institute by promoting transparency, quickly responding to the needs of faculty, students, and citizens, and building trust and effective communication between the educational institution and the community to ensure fairness and satisfaction while enhancing institutional service quality.

The mission of the Citizens Affairs Unit at Al-Najaf Technical Institute is to provide distinguished services to citizens and students by receiving requests, complaints, and suggestions and following them up with objectivity and transparency. The unit coordinates with the Dean’s Office and relevant departments to address these matters, contributing to building trust between the educational institution and the community.

🏆 Objectives

  • The Citizens Affairs Unit represents a civilized cultural interface between the Dean and the citizens, including current students, alumni, staff, and external visitors. The unit aims to:
  • Provide the best facilities and services to citizens, overcoming any difficulties they may face and completing their requests within the specified time.
  • Directly supervise organizing meetings of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University according to guidelines.
  • Directly supervise organizing meetings of the Dean with citizens to hear their complaints and requests.
  • Respond to inquiries from visitors concerning the institute and direct them to the relevant departments or units.
  • Reflect a civilized model that enhances the relationship between citizens and the institute based on transparency and mutual respect.

📈 Unit Tasks

  • Receive citizens and listen to their complaints, directing them to the appropriate department or unit.
  • Record requests clearly using the unit’s official form only.
  • Communicate with assistants, academic and administrative departments, and units regarding citizens’ requests or opinions.
  • Receive all requests addressed to the Dean and present them for his review.
  • Receive all requests for meetings with the University President and coordinate with the university’s Citizens Affairs Unit to schedule appointments.
  • Monitor the official university Citizens Affairs group, which provides notifications for speeding up the receipt and delivery of mail for the unit.
