As we remember the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we recognize the vital role that women have played, and continue to play, in shaping our understanding of the world around us. As we recognize the creative women of our country, Iraq, throughout history and into the present, this day is not only an occasion to recognize them, but also a confirmation of our commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where every aspiring scientist, regardless of gender, can thrive and innovate.
