The Dean of Najaf Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, congratulated Professor Karim Jaafar Alwan on his significant academic achievement and promotion to the rank of Professor. He commended Alwan’s distinguished research and scholarly efforts, which contribute to the advancement of the institution’s academic standing.
This promotion was granted by a university order issued by the Middle Euphrates Technical University/Central Scientific Promotions Division and signed by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi. The order was based on a decision by the University Council in its eleventh session held on July 23, 2026, and on the recommendation of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee in its fifth meeting held on June 17, 2026. It has been decided to promote Mr. Karim Jaafar Alwan from the rank of Assistant Professor to the rank of Professor at Najaf Polytechnic College, in accordance with the requirements for academic promotion and pursuant to Article (Third) of the Scientific Promotions Instructions No. (167) of 2017, effective from the date of application, December 16, 2025.
