With confident steps, and coinciding with the qualitative leap witnessed by Najaf Technical Institute with its adoption of the “Polytechnic” system, we continue to write a new success story, not only in university achievements but also in the features of its university environment.
Following the diligent field supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, the “Green Lung” project for the college, covering an area exceeding 1800 square meters, has been completed.
This project was not merely about planting; it is an engineering and environmental rehabilitation project that includes:
- Establishing Infrastructure: Through the installation of modern smart retro systems and an advanced and safe “drip” system to sustain green plants and conserve water.
- Soil Renewal: Removing the old soil and replacing it with fertile soil (a specialized agricultural mix) enriched with organic fertilizers.
- Aesthetics and Quality: The grounds are covered with luxurious, evergreen Spanish turf, and the campus is surrounded by landscaped trees, creating an inspiring and sophisticated appearance.
