As part of the vibrant activities of Entrepreneurship Week, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, inaugurated the annual Job Fair held at the Technical Institute in Najaf.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Administrative Assistant, deans of the university’s formations, and department directors, in an interactive atmosphere aimed at bridging the gap between academic outcomes and the labor market.
The exhibition witnessed wide and unprecedented participation from private sector companies, which provided detailed presentations of their available job opportunities, highlighting modern recruitment strategies and the key specialized skills required by today’s labor market. This offered students and graduates the opportunity to communicate directly with employers.
The exhibition was not limited to recruitment only; it also served as a platform for creativity and innovation. Students from the university’s formations in Najaf Governorate showcased their creative projects and scientific outputs, which were well received by attendees and participating companies. This reflects the university’s entrepreneurial vision in transforming students’ ideas into projects with added economic value.
