The Department of Electronics and Communications Technologies is an academic department that awards a technical diploma. It aims to prepare qualified professionals in the fields of modern communications and information systems security. The department comprises two academic branches: Communications Technologies Branch: This branch focuses on the study of wired and wireless communication systems, network design, and the maintenance of broadcasting and data transmission systems. Cybersecurity Technologies Branch: This branch focuses on protecting information and digital infrastructure from cyberattacks and securing networks and systems using the latest technologies and methods. The department aims to graduate highly competent technicians capable of working in telecommunications institutions, information technology departments, and the security and technology sectors.
