In a move that reflects the university presidency’s commitment to supporting and developing technical education, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Hassan Al-Zubaidi, made an inspection visit to the Deanship of the Najaf Technical Institute. He was accompanied by the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Professor Ahmed Ghanem Wadai, and the Dean of the College of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologies, Professor Faris Muhammad Ali Al-Jaafari.
The Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Haider Al-Abdali, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation, and praised the efforts made to develop and advance the institute. During the inspection tour, the University President commended the establishment of new academic branches at the institute, including surveying technologies, cybersecurity technologies, artificial intelligence technologies, and renewable energy technologies. During the visit, the delegation also discussed the latest developments and final preparations for the institute to welcome new students at the beginning of the next academic year. The dean of the institute accompanied the visiting delegation on their inspection tour of the College of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology project, underscoring the importance of this project in serving the community and meeting specialized healthcare needs.
