About the Department
In addition to the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Technologies, a modern scientific addition to the Euphrates Technical University (DT)/Najaf Technical Institute, the center integrates medical and cosmetic specialties. The center aims to prepare qualified and proficient personnel in the use of the latest cosmetic and laser technologies, to meet the needs of the Danish labor market in the public sector. The first batch of students was admitted in the 2024-2025 academic year, to meet the growing demand for this specialty in the labor market. The department offers a comprehensive and integrated educational program that combines knowledge with practical application. It focuses on studying the fundamentals of medical sciences, such as anatomy, histology, and pathology, in addition to extensive practical training on the uses of various laser technologies. Furthermore, the program focuses on providing students with advanced skills in the use of laser technologies in various procedures, such as hair removal, rejuvenation of new skin cells, and the treatment of pigmentation and scars. It also aims to introduce new and continuing students to the field of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, such as injections. A university degree designed to prepare outstanding graduates to provide comprehensive and integrated healthcare, while maintaining a professional commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality. Through this integrated program, we continually enhance the level of cosmetic care services in the community, providing safe treatment solutions as needed, thus meeting the growing need for non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

  • Enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical cosmetics and their methods of use in all types of skin care, and equip students with skills for healthy hair care and improving the appearance of the skin.
  • Graduate highly skilled and competent technical specialists in laser cosmetic techniques and their applications for treating skin diseases and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
