Amid a large student and faculty presence, the Department of Dental Technology held an oath-taking ceremony for this year’s graduates following the conclusion of the second semester exams. The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Amjad Al-Khatib, and all faculty members.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a moment of appreciation for the Iraqi national anthem. Dr. Al-Khatib then delivered the department’s speech, emphasizing the importance of the next stage in the graduates’ lives and the responsibility placed on their shoulders.

At the conclusion of the festival, the most prominent and anticipated moment was when the graduating students stood to take the professional oath. They pledged to God Almighty and their beliefs to protect their profession, provide medical services with integrity and proficiency to patients, fully adhere to laws and regulations, perform their duty to their country and people to the fullest, respect and cooperate with their colleagues, and work diligently to raise the name of their country high in all fields.
