In a humanitarian initiative that embodies the values of social solidarity, the Department of Health Management Technologies at the Najaf Technical Institute organized a successful donation campaign with the participation of students and faculty members. The campaign raised funds that contributed to the purchase of 100 toys for children, in addition to a simple food basket for 100 orphan families registered with the Al-Aqila Foundation for Orphan Care.
The humanitarian team, which included the head of the department, Dr. Rasim Al-Dami, and a number of faculty members and students, visited the Al-Aqila Foundation headquarters and distributed gifts and food baskets to the orphans, bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of the orphans and their families.
For its part, the Al-Aqila Foundation for Orphans expressed its deep appreciation for the humanitarian and solidarity role played by the Deanship of the Najaf Technical Institute, headed by Dr. Haider Al-Abdeli, commending this kind initiative that reflects the high humanitarian spirit of the institute’s members. The Foundation sent an official letter of thanks to the Institute’s Deanship expressing its gratitude for this generous gesture.
In a statement, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Al-Abdali, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening community ties and instilling the values of giving and solidarity in students. He noted that the department is committed to actively participating in serving the local community and supporting the most needy groups.
This initiative is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by our Institute during this academic year, which emphasize the important societal role of educational institutions and their constant endeavor to provide support and assistance to those in need, while strengthening effective partnerships with civil society organizations to achieve sustainable development and social well-being.
