Expert in promoting community health awareness, the Najaf Technical Institute organized a specialized scientific workshop on the topic of “Monthly Methods of Toxoplasmosis and Its Treatment” on Monday, March 10, 2025. The workshop, supervised by the Department of Health Administrative Technologies and attended by M.M. Hassanein Jamil, is part of a series of scientific studies supported by the Knowledge and Evidence Guide for Parasitic Diseases.
The workshop aimed to shed light on toxoplasmosis, a parasitic disease transmitted to humans through multiple routes, with a focus on the most prevalent groups, such as pregnant women and HIV-negative patients. The workshop ultimately achieves several objectives, including managing the parasite’s life cycle, the novel coronavirus, and symptoms that are evolving in a recent manner, in addition to diagnostic and analysis methods. The workshop also addressed the means of detecting the disease and the importance of destroying corrupt personalities, which led to the publication of an early book. M.M. Hassanein Jamil Ali, who organized the workshop, contributed to raising community awareness of this disease, which could lead to comprehensive services, especially for pregnant women. The workshop emphasized the importance of early support. Finally, identifying the disease begins with correct knowledge and healthy behaviors.
The Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdali, described the workshop as “a belief in the importance of contributing to community health awareness. Through this contribution, we seek to spread knowledge, especially among the most important and contributing groups, and to emphasize the importance of early participation. The health of our community is our priority.”
The workshop concluded with a discussion session, during which participants shared their experiences and raised questions about the disease and how to prevent it in their lives. This workshop has now become a valuable and distinctive event. Through this document, a technical specialist in Najaf aims to promote public health and preventive education, including coordinating scientific topics for the Ministry of Higher Education in community service.
