As part of the institute’s humanitarian campaign to shed light on the segment of society with special needs, the Accounting Department at Najaf Technical Institute/Humanitarian Team at the Technical Institute visited the Special Needs Care Department affiliated with the Cochlear Implant Institute in Najaf, to present gifts to the children there.
This visit aimed to achieve a set of humanitarian and social goals, including:
1) Shedding light on the issues of people with special needs, and enhancing positive interaction with them.
2) Bringing joy and happiness: drawing a smile on the faces of children, and creating an atmosphere of joy and fun.
3) Enhancing the spirit of participation and cooperation: instilling the values of giving and solidarity in the souls of students and participants.
4) Encouraging students to engage in volunteer and humanitarian work.
5) Emphasizing the right of people with special needs to receive comprehensive care and appropriate education.
The Cochlear Implant Institute, which was visited by the Accounting Department, is an educational center specialized in meeting the needs of children with hearing disabilities. The institute includes primary school classrooms where children receive advanced education using the latest technologies and specialized educational methods. The Accounting Department at the institute recommended that similar visits be organized by other scientific departments at the institute to the Department of Care for People with Special Needs. In turn, the Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Rabab Adnan, explained, “This initiative embodies the academic, educational and solidarity values that we believe in in the Accounting Department, and reflects our commitment to our social responsibility towards society. Through this visit, we were able to achieve a set of noble humanitarian goals.” In the same context, the Dean of the Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdali, stated, “I commend this pious humanitarian visit by the Accounting Department, which embodies the spirit of giving in the holy month of Ramadan. It reflects our Islamic values and educational directives, and highlights the active role of the humanitarian team at the institute. This initiative consolidates the culture of solidarity and enhances awareness of the importance of supporting people with special needs.
