In an initiative aimed at encouraging reading and culture, the Dean of Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, awarded certificates of appreciation to the students participating in the fourth edition of the Najaf International Book Fair. The heads of departments handed over the certificates to the students, expressing their thanks to the Deanship of the Institute for this initiative.
The students’ participation included attending seminars on various topics such as the environment, society, language, law, diseases, medicines, and tourism, in addition to other community topics. The students’ attendance continued during the exhibition period.
The students’ participation was characterized by interaction and enthusiasm, as they participated in the seminars effectively by asking questions and conducting extensive discussions. They also toured the exhibition halls to view the latest publications of publishing houses and purchase books that interest them.
The heads of departments expressed their gratitude to the Deanship of the Institute for this initiative, praising its keenness to support students and develop their culture. They stressed that this initiative contributes to preparing an educated and aware generation, capable of leading and influencing society.
For his part, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Al-Abdeli, thanked the professors for their continuous interaction in all seminars and festivals, stressing the Institute’s keenness to provide an appropriate educational and cultural environment for students, comparable to its counterparts in universities and institutes in advanced countries.
