📋 About the Student Activities Division
The Student Activities Division at Najaf Technical Institute is one of the active divisions affiliated with the Department of Student Activities at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. It plays a vital role in enhancing university life and developing students’ personalities in an integrated manner. The division works on planning, organizing, and implementing various student activities that contribute to developing students’ intellectual, physical, artistic, and social skills, while strengthening the values of belonging, teamwork, and initiative. Its tasks include organizing cultural festivals, sports tournaments and events, religious gatherings, exhibitions and artistic activities, scouting programs, as well as initiatives and voluntary work that have a positive impact on society.

To make the Student Activities Division at Najaf Technical Institute a pioneering and motivating environment for creativity and excellence, contributing to preparing students who possess leadership skills, a strong national spirit, and a balanced personality capable of giving and serving society, in line with the vision and objectives of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.

Providing diverse and comprehensive student programs and activities that enhance students’ scientific, cultural, sports, artistic, and social abilities, while promoting values of cooperation, discipline, and social responsibility through organized institutional work, effective planning, and positive partnerships inside and outside the university campus.

The Student Activities Division consists of five main units:
1. Cultural Activities Unit
2. Sports Activities Unit
3. Artistic Activities Unit
4. Scouting Activities Unit
5. Volunteer Work Unit
The division is headed by the Head of the Student Activities Division, assisted by the heads of the five units in addition to the division secretary, within an organizational structure that aims to ensure effective coordination, proper planning, and integrated implementation of programs and events.
