๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ๐Ÿ“˜ Admission Requirements
To be accepted into universities, the applicant must:
1- Be an Iraqi national.
2- Hold an Iraqi secondary school certificate, certified by the Directorate General of Education in the province, or an equivalent certificate.
3- Be born in 2001 or later.
4- Pass the medical examination according to the specific requirements of each program. Blind applicants (meeting the requirements for appropriate humanities studies) are admitted through centralized admission.
5- Be fully dedicated to studies; combining work and study is not allowed in morning colleges or institutes. This includes employees of all governmental institutions. Employees must obtain a study leave from their department to continue studies according to current regulations. Combining two studies is prohibited; if violated, the Ministry will be notified to cancel admission. (Employees may defer their study until completing two years of active service to qualify for a study leave according to leave regulations.)
* Must be graduates of:
a. The current academic year.
b. The previous academic year, if not centrally accepted in any college or institute. They are accepted according to minimum graduation year requirements. If previously accepted in any college or institute, the original admission is reinstated and counted as a failure year.
6- Non-Iraqi students with an Iraqi secondary certificate accepted centrally will be notified in writing to contact the Central Admission Department / Foreign Students Section to clarify exemptions or payment of tuition fees in foreign currency, according to Chapter Seven rules.

  • Required documents for morning program registration:
  • 1- Original certificate with 2 colored copies.
    2- Original medical examination report and copy.
    3- Nationality certificate or unified ID original and 2 colored copies.
    4- Residence card, 2 colored copies.
    5- Recent photos (4).
  • Documents of sponsor in parallel admission:
  • Must be an active employee.
    1- Letter from sponsorโ€™s department confirming active employment.
    2- Sponsor ID (department ID) copy.
    3- Sponsorโ€™s residence card copy.
  • Required documents for evening program registration:
  • 1- Original certificate with 2 colored copies.
    2- Original medical examination report and copy.
    3- Nationality certificate or unified ID original and 2 colored copies.
    4- Residence card, 2 colored copies.
    5- Recent photos (8).
    Sponsor documents same as above.
  • Financial requirements for registration:
  • 1- Certified check from Rafidain Bank โ€“ Al-Ghari Branch (Najaf Al-Ashraf / Aden neighborhood), addressed to Al-Najaf Technical Institute / Evening Studies as follows:
    a. Medical Departments: 2,000,000 IQD
    b. Engineering Departments: 1,200,000 IQD
    c. Administrative Departments: 750,000 IQD
    Or payment via MasterCard is accepted.
    Steps to submit the certificate for morning and evening graduates:
    1- Submit a request from the graduate to the Graduates Unit.
    2- Bring 2 copies if it is a regular certificate.
    3- Bring 3 copies if it is a graded certificate.
    4- For certificates translated abroad, the number of copies depends on Arabic or English versions.
    5- Payment receipt according to certificate type:
    a. Regular certificate: 2,000 IQD
    b. Graded certificate: 10,000 IQD
    c. Translated certificate (Arabic or English): 10,000 IQD per copy
