📋 About the Department
The Health Management Department offers a comprehensive study of all aspects related to health management systems. The curriculum includes the necessary requirements to qualify students to enter the field of health management, enabling them to create and deliver innovative solutions for improving and managing the health sector both locally and regionally. The department accepts graduates of secondary school in its scientific and scientific/biological branches. The department was established and formed according to Administrative Order No. 7/35/4413 dated October 31, 2022, based on University Order No. S A/18/1755 issued by the Secretariat of Al-Furat Al-Awsat University on October 27, 2022, and opened its doors to students in the 2022-2023 academic year.

2- This department graduates intermediate-level staff who combine administrative and medical knowledge, enabling them to interact effectively within the work environment of departments and hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health.
3- Preparing, editing, and printing books, memos, and correspondence for the administrative or organizational unit.
4- Handling appointment, transfer, resignation, and retirement procedures, calculating seniority, allowances, promotions, and any other activities required by the personnel management function in the department where they will work.
5- Maintaining records and coding for beneficiaries of health services at all levels (primary and secondary healthcare) using advanced technologies.
6- Contributing to and coordinating with other institutions to support the family medicine system, the referral system project, and other medical and health systems.
7- Coordinating with other specialties in health institutions to facilitate the organization of administrative and service operations and to develop ways of organizing visitors and ways of providing diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive services to patients
