The Tourism Techniques Department at Al-Najaf Technical Institute was established in 2012–2013 with two branches: Tourism Guidance and Hotel Management. The curricula include theoretical and practical courses to prepare students for careers in tourism, hotel operations, guest services, and electronic booking systems (Amadeus), ensuring practical and academic excellence.

The Tourism and Hotel Management Department at Al-Najaf Technical Institute provides distinguished educational, training, and research services for students in the fields of tourism, hotel management, and tourist guidance, preparing them practically to compete in the tourism job market, achieve leadership in education, research, and training, contribute efficiently to scientific, knowledge, and ethical development, enhance the environment, serve the community, and fulfill the university’s mission.
- Develop the education and learning system and provide support for students in the department
- Improve and develop the curricula in the department, emphasizing practical applications of theoretical knowledge
- Enhance practical teaching efficiency by enriching students with skills through trips, seminars, conferences, and workshops

1. Work as a tour guide for archaeological and natural sites at the national level
