The department’s morning program was launched in the 2024-2025 academic year with an initial intake of 25 students. Approval was also obtained from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to introduce evening classes starting in the 2025-2026 academic year. The department operates within a state-of-the-art educational environment and offers intensive training programs to keep pace with global advancements in the field. Emphasis is placed on promoting scientific research and improving public health, ensuring the graduation of highly qualified professionals capable of meeting the demands of the local and international job market.

Performing preventive procedures such as professional teeth cleaning and tartar removal, fluoride application, and fissure sealant placement to prevent cavities

Performing teeth whitening under the supervision of a specialist dentist according to medical protocols

Assisting dentists in oral surgeries and various treatment procedures

Taking and developing dental X-rays of all types (panoramic and digital)

Designing and manufacturing orthodontic appliances, including fixed and removable braces, mouthguards, and retainers, under the supervision of a dentist

Assisting in orthodontic treatments by fitting and maintaining orthodontic components such as elastic bands and wires, and taking plaster casts

Providing technical support in clinics by preparing and sterilizing instruments, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting the dentist during various procedures

Conducting health education and providing guidance to patients on dental care during and after preventive and orthodontic treatments

Utilizing modern technologies such as digital scanners and dental X-ray machines

Assisting in emergencies and providing first aid when needed during treatment sessions

Participating in community programs to raise awareness about oral and dental health in schools and health centers

Managing and organizing medical records. Patient appointments and long-term orthodontic case files

Working within medical teams with dentists and other technicians to provide comprehensive patient care
