About the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit
The Technology Incubator Unit focuses on nurturing and supporting ideas, research projects, and patents through the establishment and expansion of business incubators. The unit aims to develop future generations capable of fostering creativity and innovation while facilitating knowledge and research processes in Iraq. It provides a supportive and developmental environment through organizing activities and events and supplying scientific and practical content to incubator members and all stakeholders, whether individuals or institutions, enabling them to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into successful, tangible projects.

The unit aims to support and empower youth, innovators, and institutions to develop their research and entrepreneurial projects through an integrated environment of guidance, training, funding, and legal, technical, and administrative consultancy. It also promotes a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship while connecting ideas to local and international markets.
🏆 Objectives
- Attract young people with initiatives and creative ideas, establish an official umbrella for youth initiatives, and enable them to develop and implement their entrepreneurial ideas effectively.
- Provide a positive environment to incubate creative ideas and pioneering projects within the college, expanding connections with the university, and transforming ideas into tangible outcomes.
- Provide essential infrastructure for starting entrepreneurial projects and assist in securing initial funding, while expanding projects through connections with interested investors.
- Educate innovators on intellectual property protection and prepare them for various administrative tasks necessary for successfully managing and marketing their projects.
- Establish local and international partnerships with scientific and technological institutions and promote the culture of entrepreneurship among college members and students, making creativity and innovation a language of dialogue and production.
- Link new projects to the market and contribute to reducing and solving unemployment.

- Provide legal, technical, administrative, training, marketing, and consultancy services.
- Offer investment-related services, including feasibility studies and facilitating access to funding sources.
- Provide financial, administrative, and marketing support and advice, as well as technical or administrative training for incubated projects.
