The Dean of Najaf Polytechnic College, Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, congratulated the Director General of the Najaf Health Directorate, Dr. Zain Al-Abideen Al-Asadi, on the occasion of assuming his new duties, wishing him success in carrying out his responsibilities and continuing efforts to advance the healthcare sector in the governorate in line with the aspirations of the people of Najaf Al-Ashraf and the needs of its healthcare and academic institutions.
The congratulatory visit came within the framework of the College’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and integration between academic and healthcare institutions, given the importance of such cooperation in supporting the educational and practical process and creating an appropriate environment for students to benefit from expertise and field practices in the healthcare sector.
The meeting highlighted the importance of expanding areas of cooperation in the field of external lecturers and benefiting from medical and healthcare professionals and experts in supporting the scientific and practical aspects of students’ education. It also emphasized the formation and activation of joint research teams to study healthcare issues, identify related challenges, and develop scientific perspectives and solutions that contribute to serving the community.
The two sides also stressed the importance of facilitating procedures and overcoming any obstacles that may hinder cooperation, thereby strengthening integration between academic expertise and medical practice and opening broader prospects for implementing joint scientific and training programs and activities.
For his part, the Director General of the Najaf Health Directorate, Dr. Zain Al-Abideen Al-Asadi, expressed his full readiness to cooperate with Najaf Polytechnic College and provide the necessary support in a manner that serves students and provides opportunities to benefit from healthcare institutions and medical expertise. He emphasized the importance of partnership between the academic and healthcare sectors in preparing graduates equipped with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to meet the needs of the labor market.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and cooperation between Najaf Polytechnic College and the Najaf Health Directorate in a manner that strengthens scientific, research, and practical pathways, supports students, and contributes to addressing healthcare issues through scientific research and institutional integration, in service of the community and in support of the advancement of education and healthcare in the governorate.
