Najaf Polytechnic College / Middle Euphrates Technical University hosted the ministerial committee assigned to evaluate the scientific and academic reality for the academic year 2025–2026 of colleges offering administrative technical specializations at public universities. The committee was formed pursuant to a ministerial order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, the Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, Dr. Zaid Abdul-Kareem Al-Humaidawi, along with the heads of departments and officials of the relevant divisions and units.
The Dean welcomed the committee members, affirming the College’s commitment to providing all the necessary requirements to facilitate the completion of their work. He also praised the role of ministerial committees in evaluating the scientific and academic reality, enhancing the quality of institutional performance, and advancing academic and administrative standards.
The committee’s work covered the Accounting Technologies Department, Tourism Technologies Department, and Legal Administration Technologies Department, in accordance with the evaluation form prepared by the Committee of Deans of Administrative Technical Specializations. The committee reviewed the documents, evidence, and files related to the evaluation criteria and followed up on the academic and administrative procedures and the extent to which the approved requirements and standards were met.
The visit was preceded by intensive preparations under the supervision of the College Deanship and with the follow-up of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, in coordination with the scientific departments and the relevant divisions and units. The necessary documents and evidence were completed and organized, and all requirements were prepared, contributing to the smooth progress of the committee’s work and the completion of the various aspects of the visit.
The committee concluded its work after completing the evaluation procedures and reviewing the documents and requirements related to the departments covered by the visit, amid comprehensive cooperation and coordination among the College Deanship, scientific departments, and supporting entities.
This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to monitor and evaluate the scientific and academic reality of administrative technical specializations at public universities, enhance quality and institutional performance standards, and support continuous improvement and development pathways in higher education institutions.
