As part of his strategic vision aimed at comprehensive modernization, strengthening the foundations of sustainability, and advancing the Institute’s infrastructure, the Dean of Al-Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, continues his intensive field follow-up to oversee the implementation of a package of major construction and service projects across the Institute. These initiatives are intended to create an integrated educational environment that meets the aspirations of our students and supports the Institute’s academic expansion plans.

In this context, the Dean conducted an extensive inspection tour to closely monitor the progress of ongoing construction and development projects. He was accompanied by Dr. Imad Al-Din Abdul Amir, Head of the Construction and Projects Unit at the Institute, along with the heads of the project implementation committees and the supervising engineering and technical staff. The visit aimed to assess completion rates firsthand and ensure that all work is being carried out according to the highest approved engineering and technical standards.

The field tour included inspections of several strategic projects, most notably:

  1. Cosmetology and Laser Technologies Department Building:
    Reviewing the level of equipment and advanced construction works to meet the requirements of this newly established department and provide a modern training environment that keeps pace with technological advancements.
  2. Large Lecture Hall Building (Capacity: 500 Students):
    Monitoring the progress of this major educational facility, designed to accommodate the increasing number of students while providing an ideal learning environment.
  3. Welding Workshop Classrooms and Laboratories:
    Inspecting the stages of construction and rehabilitation of classrooms and laboratories to meet the practical training requirements of the scientific and medical departments.
  4. Early Warning and Fire Protection System:
    Following up on the implementation and coordination of the comprehensive safety and security system, which forms part of the Deanery’s vision to enhance occupational safety standards, minimize risks, and protect both personnel and institutional assets.
  5. New Medical Laboratories Building (Phase One):
    Reviewing the ongoing construction works to ensure the building’s readiness to meet the needs of the medical departments and equip it with the latest technologies.

At the conclusion of the tour, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali expressed his sincere appreciation and high regard for the exceptional efforts made by the supervision and implementation committees. He commended their strong commitment and continuous presence at the project sites, even during official holidays, emphasizing that this spirit of responsibility is the driving force behind completing these projects on schedule and in accordance with the highest standards of quality and excellence.

He reaffirmed that these development projects reflect the Institute’s commitment to providing an advanced educational infrastructure, ensuring that Al-Najaf Technical Institute remains a distinguished academic institution and a model of sustainable development.
