The Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, attended a ceremony honoring Iraqi engineers on their national day. The event was held in the Department of Information Technology and was attended by a number of faculty, technical staff, and students.
In his address, Dr. Al-Abdali recalled the rich and distinguished history of Iraqi engineers, praising their prominent contributions at both the local and international levels. He emphasized the aspirations of Iraqi society to grant engineers the necessary space and real opportunities to lead construction and development projects.
The celebration also featured active participation from professors who reviewed the long and distinguished technical and engineering history of the Najaf Technical Institute and its recognized role over the past decades in supplying society and the labor market with highly qualified technicians and engineers. Dr. Al-Abdali highlighted the significant strategic shift currently underway in some departments of the institute towards the establishment of the “Najaf Polytechnic College,” representing a qualitative leap in the development of technical and engineering education in the province.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the Dean of the Institute extended his sincere congratulations to the engineering and teaching staff and the students of the institute on the occasion of their National Engineering Day, wishing them continued success and excellence in their academic and professional pursuits, in service to the public good.
