Media and Government Communication Department/Najaf Technical Institute

Coinciding with the blessed days of the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and as part of the approach of direct communication with the student body, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, met with representatives of first- and second-year students from the scientific departments.

The Dean began the meeting by congratulating the students on the approaching Eid al-Fitr. He then reviewed a number of student initiatives recommended by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi. Al-Abdali emphasized that these recommendations primarily aim to improve the academic and educational environment and strengthen the university’s distinguished identity, befitting students of knowledge.

In an atmosphere of transparency, the Dean listened to the proposals and visions presented by the student representatives, aimed at enhancing the university environment and improving the services provided to them. He promised to take the necessary measures immediately to overcome all administrative and technical obstacles, ensuring an ideal learning environment that meets the students’ needs and aspirations. Dr. Al-Abdali delivered a fatherly message imbued with optimism, urging the representatives to convey it to all their peers. He said, “Iraq is your country, and you are its loyal sons and daughters. Everything the nation is going through will, God willing, lead to a better future. Therefore, you must not allow the current circumstances to affect your enthusiasm or your academic performance, for knowledge is your primary weapon in serving your country.”

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean encouraged the students to actively participate in student activities (cultural, athletic, and social), emphasizing that these activities are fundamental to fostering a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among students, developing their leadership skills, and building well-rounded personalities
