Media and Government Communication Division/Najaf Technical Institute
As part of ongoing field monitoring of the educational process, the Dean of Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, conducted a Ramadan inspection tour of the examination halls for first-year students (end-of-first-semester exams) to assess student needs and ensure the smooth conduct of exams during the holy month.
Dr. Al-Abdali began his tour by meeting with the hall supervisors and invigilators, exchanging Ramadan greetings and best wishes for their good health and acceptance of their good deeds. He listened to their opinions and suggestions aimed at enhancing the integrity of the examination process and maintaining its success, praising their role in creating a suitable environment for the students.
The tour included visits to the examination committees in the academic departments, where the Dean reviewed attendance records and the question distribution procedures. He discussed with committee members the importance of maintaining high performance levels during the fasting days, emphasizing the need to overcome all technical and administrative obstacles. In a direct conversation with his students, the Dean stopped to speak with several of them to check on their academic readiness and their ability to cope with the Ramadan atmosphere amidst the pressure of exams. The students, in turn, expressed their gratitude for this “fatherly gesture,” appreciating his presence and his patience in listening to their concerns.
During the tour, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Abdali instructed the Maintenance Department to ensure the continuous monitoring of the exam halls’ readiness in terms of:
- Lighting: Ensuring efficient light distribution in all areas.
- Cooling: Ensuring that air conditioning units are operating at full capacity to provide a comfortable environment for those fasting.
- Logistics: Enhancing all facilities that support the students’ psychological and physical comfort during the exams.
The Dean concluded his tour by emphasizing that the institute is dedicating all its resources to serving the students, wishing them success and good fortune in their academic journey
