Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of Najaf Technical Institute, the institute held a grand celebratory festival to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting and blessings. This event was organized in cooperation with the Women’s Science and Religion Forum Foundation, aiming to enhance the ethical environment and Islamic awareness among the institute’s students.
The festival began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming address emphasizing the sanctity of the blessed month and the importance of utilizing it for drawing closer to God and purifying the soul. The program included a specialized lecture presented by Sheikh Bashar Al-Baydhani, a professor of human development and life skills trainer. His lecture addressed several strategic themes for building the student’s character, most notably:
The Concept of Self-Reflection: How to utilize Ramadan for self-reflection and strengthening willpower.
The Three Dimensions: Ways to cultivate integrity in the intellectual, psychological, and behavioral dimensions of a university student’s personality.
[Media and Government Communication Department/Najaf Technical Institute] The Prophetic Approach: Highlighting the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) sermon welcoming the holy month, and how to transform the blessings of this month into creative and entrepreneurial energy in the student’s life.
At the conclusion of the festival, the hall witnessed lively interaction during the Q&A session, with prizes distributed to the participating students, creating an atmosphere of joy and motivation, and emphasizing the institute’s role in integrating spiritual values into the academic journey.
