As part of ongoing field monitoring to ensure a sound academic environment, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of the examination halls for first-year students (both morning and evening classes), coinciding with the start of the first semester final exams.
During his morning and evening tours, the Dean observed the smooth conduct of the examinations, emphasizing the presence and readiness of the examination committees. He commended the high level of organization and discipline, praising the role of the teaching staff and supervisory committees who welcomed him in the halls and worked as a unified team to create a suitable environment for the students.
As this is the first examination experience for first-year students in their university journey, the Dean made a point of visiting the halls, offering words of encouragement and urging them to:
Be diligent and strive to achieve the best results. Taking one’s time to answer and making the right choices under time pressure.
Continuing to contribute to their academic development as a cornerstone of their professional future.
During the tour, the Dean inquired with the students about the comprehensiveness of the questions and their relevance to the curriculum, emphasizing the need to consider individual differences and assess genuine academic aptitude.
In a related matter, the Dean, in cooperation with the maintenance committees, stressed the importance of maintaining the examination halls in terms of:
Lighting and ventilation: to ensure the students’ physical comfort.
Providing the necessary resources: to help students concentrate during the long hours spent in the examination halls.
At the conclusion of his tour, the Dean expressed his strong confidence in the students’ abilities, wishing them success and excellence in their academic journey, which will contribute to supplying the labor market with distinguished technical expertise that serves the nation and elevates the university’s reputation.
