In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of Najaf Technical Institute, along with all the institute’s staff, greeted the new first-year students in postgraduate, morning, and evening studies (both classical and modern programs) today. The students were greeted with a Japanese-inspired gesture of roses, a symbolic welcome and expression of enthusiasm for the start of their academic journey.
The Dean delivered a heartfelt and encouraging address to the students, wishing them a “year of academic success and excellence.” He also provided insights into the new university life, emphasizing that the students, with their distinct new identity, are active members of Al-Furat Technical University, this renowned educational institution. The Dean emphasized the importance of all specializations at the institute, stating that their significance will be underscored by their unique advantages over others, encouraging students to strive diligently in their chosen fields.
The Dean clarified the academic priorities, explaining that “lectures and basic preparation come first” are central to the focus of university students and among their most important responsibilities for achieving academic excellence. He also emphasized the students’ duties on campus, stressing that their affiliation with the Najaf Technical Institute places them among the institution’s “university elite” and obligates them to represent it with the utmost academic and ethical integrity.
