In a unique scientific and practical initiative, the Scientific Complex, in cooperation with the Institute’s Department of Cosmetic and Laser Technologies, hosted an intensive workshop entitled “Introducing the Splendor X Device and Dual Laser Technology.” The workshop was presented by the brilliant first-year student, Asia Wasfi Kazim. The workshop was held under the direct supervision and reporting of Professor Zahraa Hussein and witnessed a remarkable turnout of students and those interested in modern laser technologies.
The workshop aimed to highlight the Splendor X device, a pioneer in the field of laser hair removal, and to introduce attendees to its advanced features compared to previous traditional technologies. Student Asia Wasfi Kazim was keen to provide a precise and comprehensive scientific explanation that ensured understanding of the device’s mechanism and effectiveness. The workshop included key topics that focused on:
- Introduction to the device and its features: Student Asia Wasfi gave a detailed awareness-raising explanation of the Splendor X, emphasizing the dual-laser technology it uses and how this technology contributes to achieving better and safer results.
- Safety and effectiveness for all skin types: Focus was placed on the scientific and safe aspects of using this laser, emphasizing its effectiveness and ability to treat all skin tones, expanding its scope of benefits.
- Advanced technological features: Student Asia reviewed the most prominent features of the Splendor X, such as:
Complete safety: Its ability to adapt to various skin types without causing harm.
Superior speed: Thanks to the large head that covers a wide area and the even energy distribution, it ensures faster hair removal sessions.
Patient comfort: Thanks to the built-in intelligent cooling system, it reduces any discomfort during the session. - Clinical Trials and Practical Demonstrations: The workshop featured clinical trials and real-life cases to demonstrate the effectiveness of the device, as well as a practical demonstration of how to use the device and the expected results.
The Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, praised the workshop, saying, “The workshop embodied our vision at the Institute to enable students to explore the latest technologies such as Splendor X. These practical initiatives enhance skills and qualify our staff to serve the community with the highest levels of efficiency and innovation in the field of cosmetic and laser surgery.”
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the growing importance of using modern and advanced technological devices such as Splendor X, which effectively contribute to providing more accurate, effective, and comfortable results for patients in clinics and specialized centers.
