On the sidelines of the Flower and Plant Exhibition held at the Najaf Technical Institute Gardens, a high-level media delegation from various Najaf institutions and government departments accepted a kind invitation to attend the exhibition and learn about the institute’s efforts in the environmental and sustainable agriculture field.
The media delegation, headed by Professor Safaa Al-Sultani, was received by the Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, along with the institute’s senior staff and media representatives. Dr. Al-Abdali accompanied the delegation on a detailed tour, during which the media representatives praised the excellent organization and the beauty of the exhibits, which reflected the institute’s commitment to the environment and green spaces.
The visit program included the media delegation’s attendance at a valuable lecture delivered by Dr. Muhammad Al-Tamimi, Head of the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Technologies, entitled “Renewable Energy in Agriculture Towards a Sustainable Future.” The lecture reviewed the importance of renewable energy in achieving agricultural sustainability, preserving the environment, and increasing green cover, which was well received by the attendees. During his extended meeting with the media staff, Dr. Al-Abdeli provided a detailed explanation of the institute’s foundations and academic plan, reviewing its most notable achievements and tangible results across various levels, as well as the ambitious future plans for the institute and the university. Dr. Al-Abdeli also highlighted the challenges facing the academic process and ways to overcome them. He expressed his deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by the media in highlighting the institute’s efforts and highlighting its pioneering role in serving the community. At the end of the visit, the dean of the institute honored the media professionals with university shields in honor of their exceptional and important visit. For their part, the media professionals congratulated the deanship of the Najaf Technical Institute on their distinguished achievements and diverse activities in the scientific, societal, and environmental fields.
