The Technology Incubator Unit at Najaf Technical Institute organized a workshop on the role of technology incubators in sustainable development. The workshop was held in the G4 Scientific Complex Hall. The workshop was presented by Dr. Sajjad Kazim Hussein, a lecturer from the Department of Medical Device Technology.
The workshop discussed the role of technology incubators in supporting and developing entrepreneurial projects, focusing on the following topics:
1) The technology incubator as a link between entrepreneurs and funding sources.
2) The role of technology incubators in providing the required expertise and knowledge in technological fields.
3) Types of funding and the characteristics of each type.
In turn, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdali, commended the efforts of the Technology Incubator Unit at the Najaf Technical Institute in organizing this important workshop on the role of technology incubators in sustainable development. He stated, “This initiative reflects the Institute’s commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship and contributes to building a sustainable future for our country.” The workshop concluded with recommendations in which the lecturer emphasized the importance of giving technology incubators their primary role in organizing and coordinating entrepreneurial ideas in the field of sustainable development
