The Najaf Technical Institute, Department of Computer Networks and Software Technologies at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific symposium entitled “Basic Skills for a Successful Pharmaceutical Representative.” The symposium addressed modern digital technologies and their role in developing the pharmaceutical marketing sector and enhancing the efficiency of pharmaceutical representatives in the contemporary work environment. Prof. Dr. Issam Majeed lectured at the Scientific Complex Hall.
The symposium focused on several key topics, including the use of digital systems and modern applications in pharmaceutical marketing, the importance of databases in managing drug and customer information, and the use of data analysis and artificial intelligence to understand market behavior, which helps pharmaceutical companies make more accurate marketing decisions. The seminar addressed improving digital communication skills with customers through technological tools, highlighting the role of e-commerce platforms in promoting pharmaceutical products, reflecting the importance of digital transformation in this sector.
The Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdali, also praised the topics covered in the seminar, noting that they reflect the importance of digital transformation in the pharmaceutical marketing sector and contribute to developing the skills of pharmaceutical representatives, enabling them to keep pace with recent developments in this field.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturer emphasized the importance of keeping pace with technological developments and enhancing cooperation between the technology and pharmacy sectors to support innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
