It also highlighted the multifaceted importance of Najaf’s archaeological heritage. The symposium addressed the economic impact of heritage, its role in strengthening national belonging, and its importance in preserving the environment. The lecturers emphasized the need to foster a spirit of patriotism and preserve the cultural heritage of the world and future generations.
The lecturers displayed images of Mesopotamian civilization throughout the ages, highlighting the world’s pride in this ancient civilization. They emphasized that Iraq represents a global tourist destination thanks to its rich history and timeless monuments. At the conclusion of the symposium, brochures were distributed to the students, containing information and images about the antiquities and heritage of Najaf. The brochures were held up as a sign of an invitation to students to participate in preserving and highlighting heritage.
