Najaf Technical Institute – Department of Computer Networks and Software Technologies organized a scientific seminar entitled “Effective Management of Software Projects”, as part of the institute and university’s efforts to enhance knowledge of best practices in the field of technical project management. The seminar was delivered by Professor M.M. Safaa Mohsen Karim. In the presence of students from the Networks and Software Department at the institute.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of effective management in the success of software projects, and reviewed modern methods in planning, implementation and quality assurance, in addition to the challenges facing project managers in the technology sector.
In the same context, the Dean of the Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Al-Abdali, stated, “Organizing this symposium comes within the framework of the Institute’s keenness to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of technology, and to qualify cadres capable of managing software projects with high efficiency. We appreciate the efforts of the Computer Networks and Software Technologies Department in organizing this important event, and we affirm our continuous support for everything that contributes to developing the educational process and serving the community.” The symposium concluded with recommendations that emphasized the importance of enhancing the culture of project management in the software sector, and the need to keep pace with the latest tools and technologies to ensure achieving the highest levels of efficiency and success in technical projects
