Najaf Technical Institute concluded a training course organized by the Department of Criminal and Judicial Evidence Technologies entitled “Principles of Public Law”, which lasted for five days. The course, which was organized specifically to raise legal awareness among participants, aimed to enhance their understanding of the basic principles governing the relationship between individuals and the state, in addition to introducing the laws that regulate various areas of public life.
The course was lectured by the Head of the Department of Criminal and Judicial Evidence Technologies, Dr. Haider Rasool Al-Kaabi, and the Department’s Rapporteur, Dr. Amir Hussein Al-Akaishi. Dr. Al-Kaabi gave lectures that discussed in detail the rights of individuals and the duties of the state, and the legal mechanisms that ensure the application of public law in various circumstances. Dr. Al-Akaishi also shed light on the basic differences between public law and private law, explaining how legal concepts can be applied in practical life.
The participants in the course expressed their high appreciation for the content presented, which included important topics such as administrative justice, the rights of individuals in the face of authority, and the role of judicial bodies in protecting those rights. Many of them pointed out the great benefit they gained from the practical exercises and discussions that took place during the course. In turn, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdeli, Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, stressed the importance of such courses in raising the level of legal awareness among young people. He also stressed the need to continue organizing and holding courses and workshops that contribute to developing the skills of participants.
