The Najaf International Book Fair hosted in its fourth session a seminar entitled “English for children between 3 and 5 years and the role of the mother in raising multilingual children” delivered by the lecturer from the Najaf Technical Institute, M.M. Haider Sabah Ghuloum Redha, and he was interviewed in the lecture from the Department of Electrical Technology, Ms. Safa Mahmoud Hamad. This was in the exhibition seminar hall on February 18.
The seminar highlighted the importance of the age period for children in acquiring languages and developing them as a mother tongue for children. And how the mother and the multilingual educator play the greatest role in the success of the process of acquiring languages for children. And what are the tools practically adopted in making children learn languages in addition to their mother tongue. The seminar witnessed a distinguished presence of professors and students of the Najaf Technical Institute, who praised the lecture and gave it great importance as it contributes to changing the course of children’s lives for the better.
In turn, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdeli, praised the important role played by the professors of the Technical Institute in their participation in giving seminars at the Najaf International Book Fair. And because the seminars are qualitative and directly related to the needs of society.
This seminar is one of a series of lectures that varied in their topics held by the Najaf Technical Institute at the Najaf International Book Fair in its fourth edition this year, which indicates the Institute’s interest in holding scientific seminars that serve the interests of society and to support and make scientific and cultural events successful in the city of Najaf.
