Najaf Technical Institute / Department of Forensic and Judicial Evidence Techniques concluded a three-week first aid training course, sponsored by Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdeli, Dean of Najaf Technical Institute.
The course was held in cooperation with the National Volunteer Paramedic Team, and aimed to enhance the participants’ skills in dealing with emergency cases and injuries.
A number of students and employees participated in the course, where they received intensive training that included theoretical lectures on medical and first aid basics, in addition to practical applications on wounds, burns, fractures, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) methods, as well as learning how to transport the injured safely.
The training was provided by the National Volunteer Paramedic Team, which consists of professional paramedics with extensive experience in the field of emergencies and first aid. The course witnessed great interaction from the participants who expressed their benefit from the acquired knowledge and skills.
At the end of the course, Dr. Haider Al-Abdeli praised the level of training provided by the National Paramedic Team, stressing the importance of these courses in enhancing readiness to deal with emergency situations. It is worth noting that the Najaf Technical Institute continues to organize similar training programs as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the skills of students and the local community in the fields of first aid.
