A new brilliance is added to the record of achievements of the Technical Institute-Najaf, as the Electronic Computer Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University issued the results of evaluating the university’s websites for the period from November 3, 2024 to February 3, 2025. The website of the Najaf Technical Institute achieved first place among all the websites of the university’s formations.
The evaluation was based on several main criteria, including:
- Ease of browsing and accessing information: The ease of using and organizing the site was evaluated, and a map of the site was provided to facilitate navigation.
- Content quality and comprehensiveness: The focus was on the accuracy and reliability of the content, and its comprehensive coverage of the various aspects of the academic institute, such as academic programs, faculty members, research, and student activities.
- Clarity of planning and organization: The clarity and organization of the site design, and the ease of finding the required information were evaluated.
- Useful functions and features: The availability of useful functions and features for the visitor was evaluated, such as search, academic calendar, electronic forms, photo gallery, and institute contact information.
- Accessibility: The site was verified to be accessible to all users, including those with special needs.
- Loading speed: The speed of loading the site pages was evaluated to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Security and protection: The site was verified to be secure and protected from cyber attacks.
- Promotion and interaction: The site’s contribution to promoting the institute, attracting distinguished students and faculty members, and providing opportunities for interaction between the institute and the community was evaluated.
Najaf Technical Institute’s achievement of first place was a result of its commitment to these standards, and its provision of a distinguished website that effectively serves students, faculty members, and visitors.

The Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Abdeli, expressed his pride and appreciation for this achievement, stressing the institute’s keenness to continue developing its website to serve the educational and research process, and enhance communication with the community.
It is worth noting that this achievement is not the first of its kind for the Najaf Technical Institute, as it recently achieved first place in evaluating the scientific and academic reality of technical colleges and institutes for administrative specializations among all technical universities in Iraq, according to the report submitted by the Administrative Technical College in Basra. These successive achievements confirm the commitment of the Najaf Technical Institute to providing distinguished educational and electronic services that contribute to the development of the educational process in Iraq
