In a step that reflects the commitment of Najaf Technical Institute to excellence, and under the direct guidance of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Abdeli, a new internal road is being constructed. This comes within the framework of achieving sustainable development and improving the infrastructure of the Institute, as the road connects a group of main internal roads.
The project aims to facilitate traffic movement within the campus and provide a comfortable and effective transportation experience for students, faculty and administrative staff. The engineering survey of the road is supervised by Dr. Imad Al-Din Abdul Amir Suleiman, a construction specialist from the Projects and Construction Department, and the lecturer M.M. Hussam Abbas Mohsen Al-Kafai, an expert in transportation and communications systems.
This cooperation comes to ensure that the project is implemented according to the highest technical and engineering standards to achieve the required quality. Professor Al-Kafai designed the road, relying on his extensive experience in road network planning, taking into account the use of modern standards in engineering design. This design aims to achieve quality and sustainability in the project, to meet the needs of movement and mobility within the campus. In parallel with the engineering work,
A practical field workshop was organized for the project that included civil technology students and under the supervision of the lecturer, M.M. Ahmed Kazem Salman, to involve students in the various stages of the project. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in the field of engineering surveys and benefit from the professors implementing the project in how to design and implement projects. The workshop represented a valuable educational opportunity for students by applying theoretical knowledge on the ground.
The Dean of the Institute made a field inspection visit to see the progress of work on the project. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts made by the work team, noting that this project represents an important step towards improving the educational environment at the Institute, and enhancing the academic experience and infrastructure in it. Stressing the importance of this project in improving the quality of mobility within the Institute, which contributes to improving the daily experience of users. He also called for enhancing cooperation between the various departments to launch more development initiatives that contribute to achieving the Institute’s future vision. This project represents a model to be emulated in the development of educational institutions, as it is considered the launch of a series of future projects aimed at improving the institute’s infrastructure. The project seeks to ensure environmental sustainability and the use of advanced technologies to provide a distinguished educational environment that serves the institute’s development and innovation goals.
