Last week witnessed a remarkable academic achievement at the Najaf Technical Institute, as the second-stage students in the Architectural Design and Decoration Department conducted their practical tests for the academic year 2024-2025 for the first semester. These tests were distinguished by the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Mazloum, who was keen to provide an appropriate environment for students to present their best.
In this context, the Dean of the Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdeli, stressed the importance of the practical aspect in the educational process, praising the role of the Architectural Design and Decoration Department in providing the labor market with qualified workers capable of contributing to the process of reconstruction and development. The Dean praised the efforts made by the teaching staff and the entire department, stressing the importance of this specialization in developing the aesthetic and creative sense among students.
Practical tests are an integral part of the educational process in the Department of Architectural Design and Decoration, as they allow students to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during the academic year. These tests are designed to assess students’ ability to analyze, innovate and solve problems, which are essential skills needed by a successful architect.
