The Communications Technology Department at Najaf Technical Institute witnessed the holding of an important awareness seminar entitled “Student Discipline Instructions”, delivered by the lecturer Dr. Ahmed Hamza Mahdi. The seminar included a main theme, which is instilling the concept of discipline among students and identifying acceptable and unacceptable behaviors on campus. The lecturer touched on the importance of discipline in achieving academic and professional success, and presented effective strategies for dealing with negative behaviors and guiding students towards the right path.
Dr. Ahmed stressed the role of the family in raising their children on moral values and principles, stressing that the family and school are partners in building the student’s personality. The seminar was attended by a remarkable number of department lecturers and first and second year students, who interacted with the lecturer and showed great interest in the topics presented.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Al-Abdeli, Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, praised this valuable initiative, stressing the importance of such seminars in raising students’ awareness and enhancing their discipline. He praised the great role played by professors in guiding students and developing their skills. With such initiatives, the Najaf Technical Institute consolidates its position as a scientific edifice that pays great attention to developing the student’s personality, not only academically, but also morally and behaviorally. It is hoped that these seminars will contribute to building a generation of conscious, responsible graduates capable of serving their community and country.
