For his part, the Director of the Popular Mobilization Authority in Najaf, Dr. Qasim Al-Khaqani, stressed the importance of this occasion, emphasizing that the martyrs are a symbol of pride and dignity and that their pure blood will not be in vain. The festival concluded with a reverent Quranic recitation dedicated to the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, amidst an atmosphere of sadness and pride in their heroism and sacrifices.
