The Najaf Technical Institute, one of the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, celebrated the Iraqi National Day, coinciding with the anniversary of the liberation of Iraq from the filth of terrorism. This celebration came in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, and under the patronage of the President of the University.
The Najaf Technical Institute witnessed a special celebration on this occasion, where the Activities Division and the Media Division organized a series of activities that reflect the pride of students and staff in belonging to this country. The event began by raising the Iraqi flag high in the sky of the institute, where students lined up with their professors and the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdeli, raising the flag with pride and honor. The Iraqi national anthem was also played, which ignited the enthusiasm of the attendees.
Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdeli, Dean of the Technical Institute – Najaf, delivered a speech on this occasion, in which he congratulated the students on the National Day, stressing the importance of this occasion in the history of Iraq. He added: “You, my students, are the pillars of the future, and you are the ones who will carry the flag of Iraq high in all forums.”
