In an atmosphere full of joy and welcome, the Department of Architectural Design and Decoration at Najaf Technical Institute held a welcoming ceremony for new students for the new academic year on Tuesday, November 26, in the Scientific Complex Hall. This ceremony was held under the generous patronage of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Abdeli, who was keen to provide all means of comfort and success for the students.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, thus reflecting the importance of religion and morals in building the university community. Then, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Salah Al-Adli, gave an introductory speech, in which he explained the importance of the specialization of architectural design and decoration and the need of the labor market for it, wishing the students all success in their academic career.
For his part, the Head of the Department, Dr. Hussein, welcomed the new students, reviewing their rights and duties, and their role in building their scientific department. He also gave them a comprehensive explanation of the study plans and curricula that they will receive during their years of study. This ceremony is the beginning of a promising journey for the new students in the Department of Architectural Design and Decoration, where they will work side by side with the faculty and administration to develop their abilities and skills, so that they will become qualified cadres in the future who contribute to building Iraq. At the end of the ceremony, congratulations and blessings were offered to the new students, and sweets and juices were distributed to them, expressing their wishes for their continued success and prosperity.
