{"id":52560,"date":"2026-09-18T12:21:46","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T12:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inj.atu.edu.iq\/?p=52560"},"modified":"2026-09-18T12:21:56","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T12:21:56","slug":"najaf-polytechnic-college-enhances-its-university-environment-comprehensive-rehabilitation-of-green-spaces-on-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inj.atu.edu.iq\/?p=52560&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Najaf Polytechnic College Enhances Its University Environment: Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Green Spaces on Campus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Government Media and Communication Division<\/strong><br><strong>Najaf Polytechnic College<\/strong><br><strong>Environmental Media Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Najaf Polytechnic College, <strong>Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali<\/strong>, the College has completed a project to rehabilitate and develop its green spaces as part of its development plans aimed at enhancing the university environment and improving the overall appearance of the campus, in line with the institutional and academic development witnessed by the College following the transformation of Najaf Technical Institute into Najaf Polytechnic College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project was implemented under the follow-up of the College Deanship and through the efforts of the technical staff of the Agricultural Unit. The works included the rehabilitation of the spaces located between the Administrative and Technological Buildings, which represent vital areas at the heart of the campus and are frequented daily by students and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project included comprehensive agricultural and service works, most notably the cultivation of extensive areas with <strong>evergreen Spanish grass<\/strong>, covering more than <strong>3,000 square meters<\/strong>. This contributed to expanding the green areas and adding an attractive aesthetic appearance to the university environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The works also included equipping the targeted areas with a modern irrigation system to improve the efficiency of water delivery to the cultivated areas, preserve and sustain the vegetation cover, and rationalize the use of water allocated for irrigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project contributes to creating a more suitable university environment for students and staff by increasing green spaces and improving the urban landscape within the campus. It also enhances the environmental and aesthetic aspects while supporting the College\u2019s efforts to develop its facilities and improve the quality of its infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This achievement comes within the framework of coordination between the College Deanship and its technical and executive teams.
