This program is being conducted under the direct academic supervision of the Head of Department, Dr. Hassan Wahab Rabie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The student delegation was welcomed by the plant&#8217;s management, represented by its Director, Engineer Abbas Redawi Al-Haris, Engineer Safaa Qasim, Head of the Control Department, and Engineer Falah Sami, Head of the Electrical Department. They demonstrated significant cooperation and provided the necessary support to ensure the success of the training program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program includes continuous and intensive theoretical and practical lectures explaining the plant&#8217;s operational mechanisms in detail, in addition to reviewing the adopted operating and control systems. The students then moved on to field training, where they closely examined the control systems of the power generation unit, learning about their intricate components and how they operate. The field trip also included a visit to the 132 kV network and an introduction to its control and protection systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This training program, which lasts for 60 consecutive days, aims to develop students&#8217; skills, refine their technical expertise, and prepare them early and directly for entering the job market, industrial facilities, and the energy sector in the country after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, the academic supervisor and head of the department, Dr. Hassan Wahab Rabie, emphasized that there is close and continuous weekly monitoring of the training progress to ensure the achievement of the desired training objectives and enhance the students&#8217; practical competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the conclusion of the field trips during the first days of training, the participating students expressed their great satisfaction with the high level of scientific benefit provided by the program.
