As part of the periodic monitoring and evaluation programs implemented by Middle Euphrates Technical University for its educational institutions, and in accordance with scientific plans aimed at developing academic performance, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at Najaf Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh Al-Adli, received a delegation from the Continuing Education Center at the university’s headquarters. The delegation was headed by the Center’s Director, Professor Dr. Mahdi Hatem Kadhim, and included Lecturer Haider Abbas. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the performance of the Continuing Education Unit at the institute for the 2025-2026 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit included an inspection of all sections of the updated evaluation form. Ms. Fathia Atiwi Haddad, Head of the Continuing Education Unit, presented the training plans, courses, seminars, workshops, and development programs overseen by the institute’s Scientific Affairs Department. The delegation also reviewed the documentation and follow-up mechanisms and the extent to which the institute’s institutional goals related to continuing education and community service were achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same context, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Adli, stated, “The Najaf Technical Institute gives great importance and daily attention to continuing education, through supporting training and development activities that contribute to enhancing the quality of academic performance and developing the scientific and professional capabilities of teaching and administrative staff and students. This reflects a culture of lifelong learning and openness to the needs of society and the labor market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Al-Adli also reviewed for the delegation the most prominent achievements of the Institute in the field of continuing education under the supervision of the Scientific Affairs Department, emphasizing the continued support for the Continuing Education Unit and the provision of all necessary requirements to develop its programs and activities in line with the directives of the university and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For their part, the visiting delegation praised the advanced level of activities of the Continuing Education Unit at the Institute and the exceptional efforts exerted by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Saleh Al-Adli, and the staff working in the unit. They commended the quality of the implemented training and development programs and the precise work mechanisms adopted in their implementation and documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit comes within the framework of the annual official procedures adopted by the Middle Euphrates Technical University to evaluate the continuing education units in its various formations, with the aim of developing performance, exchanging experiences and enhancing the quality of training programs, and in a way that contributes to pushing the Najaf Technical Institute towards leadership in annual evaluations at the level of all university formations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
