Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Najaf, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, and within the institute\u2019s vision aimed at creating a sustainable and environmentally friendly university environment, first-year students in the Accounting Techniques Department carried out a major volunteer campaign to plant and beautify green spaces across the institute\u2019s courtyards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative, held under the direct field supervision of the Head of the Department, Dr. Rabab Adnan Fadil, witnessed active participation from both teaching staff and students, whose efforts came together to plant various types of trees and ornamental plants. The campaign was not limited to planting only, but also included organizing and planning green areas to ensure their sustainability and aesthetic value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers stated that this initiative aims to achieve several key objectives, most notably:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Combating climate change by increasing green areas and reducing carbon emissions within the campus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Strengthening values by promoting volunteer culture and environmental citizenship among students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    The Dean of the Institute stated: \u201cThis remarkable initiative is not merely about planting seedlings; it is about instilling a sense of responsibility and belonging. The academic institution is the true starting point for societal and environmental awareness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In conclusion, the department expressed its gratitude to the institute\u2019s administration for its continuous support of student initiatives, and to the students who proved that academic excellence is completed with an ethical and environmental human impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
