The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hah Lu Al-Askari, chaired a meeting of the Council of Opinion, attended by its members from senior staff and presidents of public universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the meeting, he emphasized the importance of quality and its direct impact on improving outcomes, keeping pace with global standards, enhancing academic reputation, producing scientific research, ensuring its presence in international databases and repositories, embodying governance, improving institutional performance, and responding to the requirements of modern education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its fourth meeting, the Council of Opinion approved the items listed on the agenda\ud83d\udc47:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa\ufe0f Completing the scientific and logistical procedures related to the ministerial standardized exam among public and private universities in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, health and medical technologies, engineering and engineering technologies, law, administrative and economic sciences, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity for the academic year 2025\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa\ufe0f Approving the adoption of a new mechanism for evaluating teaching staff seconded from other ministries starting from the academic year 2026\/2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25aa\ufe0f Observing the legal authorities granted in making decisions to suspend university attendance in Iraqi provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hah Lu Al-Askari, recommended that universities and their councils enhance community service through programs and research projects aligned with the goals of sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
