Media and Government Communication Division\/Najaf Technical Institute<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Najaf Technical Institute Council held its twelfth regular session for the current academic year, chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, and attended by the Vice Deans for Scientific, Administrative, and Student Affairs, as well as the heads of all academic departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dean began the session by reciting Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs of Iraq and the faith. The Council then reviewed a set of directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighting the recommendations of the President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, which focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Focusing on a study of the labor market in Najaf Governorate and neighboring governorates to establish technical departments (medical, engineering, and administrative) that guarantee immediate job opportunities for graduates, along with providing specialized teaching staff for each newly established department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Requiring academic departments to implement their annual research plans and providing both moral and financial support to faculty members to publish in Scopus and Clarivate databases, thereby raising the university and institute’s ranking in international forums.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Forming scientific committees to oversee the graduation research projects of this year’s final-year students, emphasizing that the research should have an applied aspect that addresses a real-world problem, and recognizing outstanding research that serves as a pioneering model.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Monitoring the timelines of ongoing construction projects, including smart classrooms and specialized laboratories, to ensure the accommodation of increasing student numbers and provide a modern learning environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Improving logistical services within the university campus (gardens, cafeterias, walkways, and lighting) and creating a “green” and sustainable university environment that provides psychological comfort for students and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Establishing memoranda of understanding with institutions and companies to provide students with field training and to link faculty research projects to the technical challenges faced by factories and hospitals in the region. 7. Automating administrative processes and student affairs, and professionally activating educational platforms to reduce paperwork and expedite student and graduate transactions, as well as fulfilling IQ Learning requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Continuously working to meet national and international quality standards to obtain program accreditation for academic departments, ensuring educational outcomes that meet international standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Supporting student initiatives in scientific, cultural, and athletic fields, and supporting business incubators within the institute to transform students’ innovative ideas into successful small businesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Conducting regular professional development courses for teaching, technical, and administrative staff to keep pace with technological advancements in teaching methods and modern administrative systems.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
